Kosmo Cap (ET01B01)

We're in the interior BC and this wildfire season has been rough. Between the smoke and the 30+ degree heat, Lilah & I have had to skip most of our usual walks & hikes for weeks on end.

The Kosmo has been our saving grace. What surprised me most is that we don't even need to freeze it. Loaded with her regular kibble & a bit of peanut butter, it keeps Lilah working, licking & problem-solving for over an hour!! On a smoky day when a walk is off the table, that hour of focus does as much for her as a proper outing would. She settles afterward the way she does after a good hike.

I also love that we can swap the two ends depending on the day. Easy chewing when she's tired, a real puzzle when she's got energy to spare.

If you've got a smart dog who can figure out any toy in mins and days where getting outside just isn't safe, this one earns its spot!!

The licking zone is my dog’s favourite part. I have experimented with different frozen goodies, and it's been a great opportunity to discover healthy, homemade treats. Kosmo is fun for dogs that enjoy treats on hot days out in the yard.

A completionists must have ! My dog absolutely loves the Kosmo! We’ve tried a few enrichment toys before, but this is the one she keeps coming back to. I really like that you can switch it up to make it more challenging, which keeps things interesting instead of him figuring it out once and getting bored. It feels really well made, is easy to clean, and has held up great so far. The only downside is that now every time I open the cupboard where I keep it, he comes running because he thinks it’s treat time. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for something fun that keeps your dog entertained and engaged.

We've tried countless toys over the years, but most end up in the garbage after just a few days. Kosmo 04 is different. It's incredibly well designed, durable, and unlike anything we've used before.

We fill it with peanut butter and kibble, then freeze it before giving it to our dogs. It keeps them happily occupied and gives us the opportunity to spend more quality time with our baby without feeling guilty.

The biggest difference has been with our dog who has separation anxiety. We've noticed how much calmer he stays while working to get every last bit of food out of the toy. Watching him stay focused and engaged instead of anxious has been amazing.

On top of that, it's super easy to assemble and disassemble for filling and cleaning. Every detail of the design feels thoughtfully considered. We couldn't recommend it more

What do I say first?! I picked up the Kosmo 04 at Barkham and it’s become Bailey’s favourite toy. She’s a 4 y/o Lab German Sheppard mix about 65lb. This toy makes her WORK, she literally just chills after. I truly appreciate the design, it’s so well thought out and it doesn’t feel toyish like all the others we have, almost too nice…I know I’ll eventually have to replace some parts but that’s what this is all about. Again, a first so let’s see how it goes.

There’s a technique I had to learn taking the cone apart from the screw though but once I learned that (from the videos in the Kosmo Care page) it’s been amazing. I also prefer that it’s a bit difficult because I know it’s secure and won’t come apart easily when Bailey is going at it. I’m actually able to properly AND easily clean it! I don’t throw it in the dishwasher though, I just use a bit of dish soap. NO MORE STICKING MY FINGERS IN HOLES.

All in all Bailey is extremely happy and gets so excited when she sees it. THANK YOU BARKUS.

My dog needs a job to do or else he will self-employ (and do something we don't want him to do) and the Kosmo 04 gives him something productive to work on. This is going to be a life-saved in extreme weather days in Toronto when we're stuck inside and he's "looking for work."

I don't know why but my dog has always refused to hold his own chews and wants me to hold them for him, which is cute but really limits my ability to do anything else at the same time :') It's sooo nice to be able to put a chew in the Kosmo 03 and let him work on it so I can read or work or just do..literally anything else!!

I wanted to love this because I love the toothbrush so much! But first off it’s huge and heavy. It would be helpful to have a couple of sizes so that smaller dogs have something to use that isn’t quite as heavy and large. Having said that it works great as a chew holder! The only other comment is that sometimes it reopens easily to remove the left over chew part, and sometimes it doesn’t.

We love that it's two in one. It can be filled with frozen yogurt or broth for enrichment and also a great bully holder. It holds the bully well but only works on bully sticks that are thick enough (thicker than the gap between the nylon cap and screw). Toy is heavy so more appropriate for medium to large dogs. One downside (enough to discourage me from using this toy) is how difficult it is to take apart the pieces for cleaning. Yogurt usually gets stuck between the screw and the cone. Even with soap and force it's very difficult to disassemble and reassemble after each use. Even my partner who is a rock climber finds it difficult to pop the screw off the cone. Hope this will improve so that this great toy is accessible to many fellow dog owners.

It gets 3 stars as a nod to its obvious excellent construction and thoughtful design. Very sturdy and made to last. Unfortunately, after almost a month, it just doesn't interest our 7 kg mini goldendoodle, possibly because he's too small for it. Nut butter, yogurt, cheese... All things he loves but not so much frozen in the kosmo. He'll work at it for 5 minutes and then that's it, won't look at it again. The chewy holder (again, a great idea) also hasn't attracted him so far. We'll keep it around, he's only 10 months old; maybe he'll come around to it.

What a great dog toy and very versatile. My boys nawlins and roux love it. Not only does it look like its high quality, it is also very durable. I have two Great Danes so this fits perfectly for their mouths and paws, they both enjoy it alot!

To put treats in and also clean. I have two great danes and they both love them. They hold up very well compared to other toys we have bought them. They are able get peanut butter out and the treats that I stuffed inside.

Havent used them yet - but arrived quickly & all looks great! Pup comes in 3 days!!

Picked up the Kosmo 04 from Barkus's enrichment collection and it's been great. The quality is obvious, premium materials, feels like it will last. But what really stands out is the design. It's not just another stuffy, my dog actually has to engage with it differently, which keeps her mentally stimulated way longer. The size and shape are perfect for interactive play, and she proudly carries it around even after playtime. Quiet indoors, clean aesthetic, no garish branding or colours. Just a well-made toy that does exactly what it's supposed to.

Rubber base is nice for when it’s dropped on hardwood or tile; and it’s metal where it needs to be. Also looks great!
